Mapleton Elevator

Dulas Excavating was hired to demolish three iron tanks atop the 16-foot concrete Mapleton Elevator. Project negotiations lasted more than a year mostly due to the complex nature of the demolition. With a high-pressure gas line running down the middle of the property, careful planning and special safety considerations were required. After completing the demolition of the top tanks, Dulas removed one final tank that was replaced with the elevator dryer system.
